Relevant if only because I want to move to Paris ASAP. And yes, a comprehensive list of good macarons in NYC never hurts either.
Greater Boston’s best new restaurants
- Over the past three years, the number of really good restaurants in and around Boston has increased exponentially, in spite of a down economy.
Holy saffron-poached pear with mascarpone and lavender-caramel sauce. This is relevant to my interests. (Damn you, Boston for making me hungry again even though I just ate lunch! ><”)
Ben, Bonnie, Kerry, Biggie: We have some serious nomming to do when we all get back.
Apple-cinnamon-caramel strudel, and some heavenly elderflower tea with honey, lemon, and a shot of becherovka. Best afternoon tea ever.
The only thing I know about what I’m eating for breakfast right now is that that’s probably a smoked salmon and trout nestled in among the meat and cheese, and that one of those meats is a “bio-salami”. Whatever that means, I know its going to be deliciously terrible for my blood pressure.
In-N-Out vs. Five Guys vs. Shake Shack
I wholeheartedly agree with their conclusion. One is clearly supreme, but the others are still both effing delicious.
Fun fact: Ben once seriously asked me to FedEx him In N Out from LA. I almost tried.
