Hi, I'm Midori

I like music, art, tech, words, and the universe, in general.
I have a love affair with international relations and the state of California.
I work in the motorcycle industry in sales and marketing, handling the world market outside of Japan.
But sometimes, I’d really just like to sing and play guitar in a rock ‘n roll band.
My mantra is “Live/love each day as if it were your last.”
..and I doubt it’s a coincidence that “living” and “loving” are only a letter off from each other.
My job takes me traveling all over the place, and I tend to never be home (NJ, represent!) for more than a week at a time. It’s a good thing - I absolutely love traveling and I can never stay still.

You could say I’m a business woman by day and your average life-loving, question-asking, soon-to-be-starving artist trying to afford college by night.

This tumblelog contains snippets of my travels and travails, as well as bits and pieces of things that spark the interest of my head, or heart, or ears, or eyes. Add on top of that things that make me laugh and smile, because I do that a lot.

Feel free to drop comments or even little hellos! The intertubes’ reign spreads far and wide so I’m honored that you’ve come here to read my ramblings.

Thanks for stopping by.

xo, M.

I received a little shout-out from inky, and seriously, I’m really rather flattered by the mention, because I still think Obsidian’s minimalistic design is more beautiful than my jumble of notes and colors. So massive kudos still go to inky - I really don’t know if I would say I made their theme more awesome. Simply a little more me.

That said, cripes, my traffic has gone up quite a bit.
